The Governors of Stannington First School are looking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic person to work in our school. This is a fixed term position for 12 months with variable hours (10-30 hours), term time only, initially 16 hours per week, starting September 2026. The working pattern can be discussed (either 2.5 days or 4 mornings).
Qualifications:
- Has an outstanding record of working within a team, demonstrating a positive attitude, enthusiasm and sense of humour.
- Has experience of supporting children in a primary school/early years setting.
- Has good literacy and numeracy skills.

We are a small First School with pupils aged between 3-9, providing a happy and stimulating environment where children can be involved in a variety of learning experiences.
