We are looking to recruit a teacher for Level 3 Health courses including T level and BTEC/AAQ at our Stockton Sixth Form College. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background in Adult Nursing or similar, and relevant industry experience aligned to the Adult Nursing pathway. They should have knowledge of current healthcare practice, clinical skills simulation, and the delivery of core science and patient care concepts.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical background in Adult Nursing or similar.
- Relevant industry experience aligned to Adult Nursing pathway, including knowledge of current healthcare practice, clinical skills simulation, and delivery of core science and patient care concepts.
- Hold current professional registration (e.g., NMC registration) and a relevant degree.
- Teaching qualification – Level 5 teaching qualification preferred; industry professionals willing to work towards this will also be considered.
- Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to working with students from a range of backgrounds.
Employment Details
- Full-time contract equates to 24 hours of contact time per week.
- Start date: 20th August 2026.
- Salary: up to £51,714 per annum pro rata, depending on experience.
