The HR Adviser role is an exciting opportunity to build your experience in Human Resources. It is a demanding but rewarding role which covers a range of HR activities. As a member of our Human Resources Advice function, you will support the HR Business Partners with general HR advice to managers and employees on routine issues, HR policies, procedures and terms and conditions of service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general HR advice to managers and employees on routine HR issues, policies and procedures, and terms and conditions of service.
- Take an active role in supporting casework across the company, including investigations, grievance and capability matters, and maintain accurate records.
- Focus on attendance management, supporting managers in review meetings and taking a proactive role to reduce absence and help achieve company targets.
- Assist in researching and developing policy and guidance documents and drafting reports and dashboards for senior management.
- Facilitate the arrangement of regular meetings, including scheduling, room booking, producing agendas, taking notes and providing general administrative support.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Sound knowledge of attendance management, disciplinary, grievance, capability and recruitment processes.
- Experience of working towards or having achieved a CIPD qualification.
- Excellent communication, organisational and administrative skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and confidentiality.
