Contract Type: Permanent

Salary Range: Grade 3, SCP 7-8, £26,403.00 - £26,824.00 FTE (pro rata salary £24,524.00 - £24,915.00)

Working Type: Full Time 37 hours per week, 41 working weeks, 48.299 paid weeks

Base: Hetton Academy, North Road, Hetton le Hole, Houghton-le-Spring, DH5 9JZ

Please note: the post holder will be engaging in regulated activity, working mainly or wholly with children. This position is exempt from the rehabilitation of offender’s act 1974. It is an offence to apply for this role if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.

Northern Education Trust (NET) is a charitable education Trust with a good track record for school improvement. The Trust sponsors 30 academies; 17 secondary and 13 primaries across the North of England in fourteen Local Authority regions.

Hetton Academy is looking to appoint an administrator who is an enthusiastic and efficient individual to co-ordinate the support provision for students who need help in overcoming barriers to learning and developing their potential by raising standards of behaviour for learning. The role will involve organising and providing appropriate work and supervision to the students in the provision until an appropriate member of staff is available as well as providing information, reports and analysis on student behaviour.

Hetton Academy is a rapidly improving school, celebrating great success since joining Northern Education Trust in 2022. Our GCSE results over the past 2 years have been amongst the highest in the North East of England and are well above National Average. This is partly due to our high standards. This role has been pivotal in maintaining the standards we expect of all of our students in order to overcome barriers and achieve outstanding outcomes.
