A rare opportunity within Sunderland City Council’s Registration Service. We are looking for a Deputy Registration Officer of Births, Deaths and Marriages to fulfil statutory duties on a Permanent Variable Hours basis. You will be an excellent communicator and passionate individual who places service to the public at the heart of everything you do. As a key member of the team, you will provide the highest level of service to residents and customers during important moments of their lives. You will support the Registration Officers in their daily work and be part of a busy office that requires attendance at approved premises, Sunderland Royal Hospital and other council offices. You will also be part of the ceremonies team operating 7 days per week and bank holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high level support to Registration Officers.
- Attend approved premises including Sunderland Royal Hospital and other council offices.
- Operate within the ceremonies team 7 days a week and bank holidays.
