Fixed term apprenticeship - maximum 30 months

Are you looking to kickstart a career in data analysis? Why not come and work for us in IT and gain a qualification! Sunderland City Council has a strong commitment to apprentices and training and as an Apprentice Data Analyst, you will be provided with unparalleled support throughout the duration of your programme. You will develop the skills you need for the job by working alongside IT colleagues whilst gaining hands-on experience at the same time as working towards a Data Analyst Level 4 qualification.

What you will be doing:

  • Support the provision of a data service by collecting, organising, analysing and interpreting data for evidence-based decision making.
  • Use appropriate data analysis reporting and visualisation tools, to support creation of reports, dashboards and insight products.
  • Design and support the production of routine and regular reports, including supporting the translation of outputs to different audiences.

Please note, to be eligible for an apprenticeship, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be 16 or over at the start of the apprenticeship;
  • Not in full-time education;
  • Be a UK citizen or have proof of right to work in the UK;
  • Have lived in the UK/EEA for the last 3 years or more;
  • Must have the legal right to work in the UK for the full duration of the apprenticeship.
  • You cannot undertake an apprenticeship if you already have a higher qualification in the same subject.
