Attendance Officer, Grade 5

Working 37 hours per week, term time only plus 10 days actual pro‑rata salary is £25,011 – £27,131 per annum (pay award pending).

You will work with students and parents/carers to contribute to improving whole school attendance outcomes, reduce barriers to attendance and persistent absence and raise achievement.

The role will involve undertaking home visits, inputting and analysing student attendance data, undertaking administration duties relating to attendance and implementing strategies to improve attendance.

We are looking for a colleague with knowledge of policies and statutory guidance on pupil attendance, effective communication skills and the ability to work with pupils, parents/carers and external agencies.
