Overview
We have an exciting role on offer within our Transport and Infrastructure as a Street Lighting Engineer.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of operatives to investigate and resolve street lighting faults across our network, identifying areas that require improvement or modification.
- Install and maintain public lighting to ensure the effective and efficient illumination of roadways, pathways and public spaces.
- Respond to the demands of the service with excellent communication and customer service skills; remain organised and manage your time effectively.
- Assist other service areas, developers and third parties on lighting enquiries.
- Manage budgets, procurement and tender processes.
- Undertake relevant training deemed necessary to meet the duties and responsibilities of the post.
- Previous experience in the street lighting industry is essential.
- A full current UK driving licence is required for this post.
