Overview

We have an exciting role on offer within our Transport and Infrastructure as a Street Lighting Engineer.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of operatives to investigate and resolve street lighting faults across our network, identifying areas that require improvement or modification.
  • Install and maintain public lighting to ensure the effective and efficient illumination of roadways, pathways and public spaces.
  • Respond to the demands of the service with excellent communication and customer service skills; remain organised and manage your time effectively.
  • Assist other service areas, developers and third parties on lighting enquiries.
  • Manage budgets, procurement and tender processes.
  • Undertake relevant training deemed necessary to meet the duties and responsibilities of the post.
  • Previous experience in the street lighting industry is essential.
  • A full current UK driving licence is required for this post.
