We have an exciting role on offer within our Environmental Services as a Stocks and Facilities Assistant. Newham Grange is a working leisure farm based in Middlesbrough and has recently undergone a large‑scale investment to transform it into an award‑winning visitor attraction, offering a wide range of experiences including feeding the animals, play equipment, family focused events and private parties. We pride ourselves on providing a fun‑filled day out to all visitors.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced, customer focused Stocks and Facilities Assistant to join our fantastic Stock and Facilities team at Newham Grange Farm.

Requirements
  • A Level 3 in Animal Management Qualification.
  • Relevant qualifications and/or experience in an appropriate area of work (Animal Welfare).
  • Safe use of farm machinery.
  • Current Driving License.
  • Basic Level of Fitness.
Responsibilities

You will have a responsibility for all aspects of animal welfare at the farm, use of all the farming machinery on site including tractor and trailer and all associated attachments, ensuring the highest standards of care to all our livestock from Beef Shorthorn cattle to small rodents, assisting the customer service team to deliver a fantastic fun‑filled day out.
