Responsibilities

You will direct and control the day-to-day provision of the Council’s household and commercial waste collection services and ensure that these services are provided efficiently and in line with Service Key Performance Indicators.

Qualifications
  • Experience of working at a supervisory level directing work for a team of around 80 people, including planning daily and weekly manpower requirements.
  • Strong people management skills.
  • Proven track record in overseeing and contributing to the successful running of a fast paced operational service.
  • Excellent computer skills and ability to communicate well with customers and staff.
  • Previous experience of working with in‑cab technology would be an advantage.
