We are looking for a team player who is highly organised and self‑motivated with a professional manner and the effective communication skills to work in the Revenues and Benefits Service as part of the Revenues Team. As a Revenues Officer (Billing and Collection), you will assist in the day‑to‑day activities concerning Council Tax, Business Rates and Housing Benefit overpayment, billing and collection. This will include maintaining the database to reflect changes in liability and issuing bills and invoices as appropriate.
You will work with members of the team, supporting change through innovation and new solutions, to ensure continuous service improvement. If you are enthusiastic, have the necessary skills and experience to join our team and are dedicated to continuous improvement, we would like to hear from you.
You will have 5 GCSE’s at Grade C or above, including Maths and English, and have experience of collecting Local Authority Revenues. Experience of using Capita (Academy) Revenues and Benefits System and Civica Workflow would be an advantage but is not essential.
