Sedgefield Town Council are looking to appoint a friendly and professional Receptionist to join our team and work 25 hours per week at the Town Council offices as follows:
- Monday 8.30am β 1.30pm
- Tuesday 8.30am β 1.30pm
- Wednesday 8.30am β 2.30pm
- Thursday 8.30am β 1.30pm
- Friday 8.30am β 12.30pm
The purpose of this role is to operate the reception area during public opening times including welcoming visitors, answering telephone and email enquiries as well as undertaking administrative support work to support the Town Clerk including routine clerical tasks, record keeping and filing. This role requires the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
This role is paid in accordance with NJC Local Government pay scales Grade 2 Β£24,796 - Β£25,185 pro-rata (with pay awards agreed nationally).
