This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Fulcrum Education. We are seeking to appoint a highly organised and proactive School Administrator to support our specialist setting for students aged 11–16 with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acting as front of house and welcoming visitors to the school
  • Managing phone calls, emails and general enquiries
  • Maintaining accurate student records, attendance data and reports
  • Supporting safeguarding, health & safety and compliance procedures
  • Providing general administrative support across the school
  • Assisting with trips, calendar management and school events
  • Supporting financial processes including handling cash, invoices and records
  • Producing reports, minutes and documentation as required
  • Supporting communication with parents, home schools and external agencies
  • Assisting with admissions and wider school processes

Additional Opportunities

  • Support students within the classroom where required
  • Take on additional responsibilities such as Exams Officer or Health & Safety Lead with training provided

Requirements

  • Has experience in an administrative role
  • Has strong organisational and time management skills
  • Is confident using Microsoft Office and working with data
  • Has excellent communication skills and a professional manner
  • Can work both independently and as part of a team
  • Has a positive, calm and caring approach
  • Understands the importance of confidentiality and safeguarding
  • Has experience in a school or SEND setting (desirable)

Contract Details

  • Hours: 35 hours per week (8:30-3:30) (term time only)
  • Salary: SCP 8 (Β£26,823 pro rata) + SEND allowance (Β£2,787)
