We have an exciting role on offer within our Strategic Procurement and Commissioning service as a Placement Manager.
About Us
We are looking to appoint a Placement Manager in our Children's Commissioning Team. This role is responsible for supporting Children's Services in sourcing high quality external placements that can meet the need of our children and young people. We are looking for a candidate who has a relationship management approach to work, as well as having strong negotiation skills and the ability to work under pressure and can deal with sensitive situations. This would be an excellent career development opportunity for an experienced placement officer or an experienced social care worker who is looking for a new challenge.
This post is in the Children's Commissioning Team and will manage two Assistance Placement Officers. The post will work closely with the Children's Commissioning Manager and Health Practice Lead and will be managed by the Interim Head of Service for Commissioning & Procurement. This is a hybrid working role with a requirement to be office based two days, with the ability to work from home for the remainder of your working week.
