We have an exciting role on offer within our Public Protection service as an Environmental Health Officer. The Public Protection Service is seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced Environmental Health Officer to work in the Environmental Health section with a focus on food hygiene and food standards inspections, carrying out accident investigations and infectious disease investigations as well as responding to complaints relating to food safety, food standards and health and safety.
Applications are invited from candidates with a Degree or Masters in Environmental Health, ideally with at least 2 years’ experience as an Environmental Health Officer working in food safety and health and safety; however, consideration will also be given to newly qualified candidates.
