We’re looking for a motivated and highly organised Portfolio Office Support Officer to join our Funding & Programme team. This role is temporary until September 2027 to cover a period of maternity leave, or until the return of the substantive postholder from maternity leave, whichever is sooner.
WHAT IS INVOLVED?
As Portfolio Office Support Officer for Regeneration Economy and Growth (REG), you’ll play a key role in supporting the development and delivery of REG’s portfolio of programmes and projects. You’ll support the corporate’s Place Programmes Board by tracking progress of programmes and projects, providing assurance on their performance and identifying risks and issues. You’ll play a key role in driving forward the successful implementation and management of REG’s Portfolio Office and Capital Programme. This is an exciting opportunity to foster and increase collaboration with project managers, supporting projects to increase their successful delivery.

WHAT WILL I NEED?
- NVQ Level 5 or equivalent qualification in a relevant project management or regeneration and development subject.
- Experience of working in a programme project management office or of programme and project management.
- Experience if establishing and maintaining monitoring and record‑keeping systems.
