Teaching Assistant – Two Vacancies

Grade: 3
Hours: 37 hours per week during term time plus 2 weeks
Start date: October 2026
About the Role
Working closely with teachers and the SENDCO, you will:
- Support pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASC, SEMH and communication needs.
- Deliver targeted interventions and personalised support.
- Help create a nurturing, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
- Promote pupils' independence, wellbeing and progress.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
What We're Looking For
- A Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent).
- GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent).
- Experience working with children in a school setting.
- Experience supporting pupils with SEND.
- Excellent communication skills and a patient, nurturing approach.
- A commitment to inclusion and helping every child succeed.

Employment Conditions
Connect Multi-Academy Trust is legally obligated to carry out a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check before appointing staff. The DBS check will identify spent and unspent convictions, cautions, bind-overs and pending prosecutions. This is required to ensure compliance with the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006.
A probationary period of 4 months applies to all positions in the Trust. You will receive a comprehensive induction to support successful completion of the probation.
