What is the Children’s Social Work Academy? Our Academy provides a strong foundation for your career, ensuring you have the tools, experiences, and support to succeed:
- 12-month structured programme at our Academy, learning and working together with your peers, the team manager and advanced practitioner.
- Time spent with host teams and shadowing experienced practitioners.
- Enhanced supervision and support throughout your Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE).
- Access to coaching, mentoring, and guidance from experienced Social Workers.
We'll help you transition from student to confident professional, developing your core skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality social work practice.
