The Governors of Archbishop Runcie Church of England VA First School wish to appoint a permanent Facilities Manager. We are a welcoming Church of England school with happy, well-behaved and highly motivated children and a dynamic, passionate and hardworking staff team. We have high expectations of ourselves and the children.
We wish to fill our Facilities Manager vacancy to co-ordinate and supervise the support of the school and services to ensure it is fit for purpose. We are looking for a meticulous team member who will go the extra mile for the benefit of the school community. The successful candidate will work alongside and under the direction of the School Business Manager.
The successful candidate will model high standards for themselves, the school and others. They will have a positive outlook and will be excited at the prospect of being part of our team.
The successful candidate will:

The role is 35 hours per week (although alternative hours would be considered β please include your preference within your covering letter). Annual leave can be taken only during school closure periods with the agreement of the Headteacher. During the school holidays, rather than working a small number of hours per day, the successful candidate may work the daily hours as a continuous shift (e.g. 8:30am β 4:00pm).
