We are seeking a proactive and well-organised Finance Officer to join our school and support the effective management of our finances. Working closely with the School Business Leader, you will play a key operational role in financial planning, budgeting, and reporting, helping to ensure strong financial governance and value for the school. You will also line manage a Finance Assistant and be part of the supportive and collaborative wider Operational Management Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting in line with school priorities
- Oversee day-to-day financial management, systems, and controls
- Produce clear financial reports and statutory returns to support school leadership and governors
- Liaise with external partners such as the Local Authority, DfE, HMRC, and auditors as required
