The predicted salary is between 23000 - 27000 £ per year.

You will undertake the provision of an efficient and effective horticultural, sports ground, green keeping and arboricultural service. You will have day to day responsibility for the careful use and maintenance of expensive vehicles and allocated tools and equipment. You will work individually or as part of a team and under the general direction of senior colleagues.

Requirements of the Job:

  • You must hold a Level 2 in Horticulture/grounds person/green keeping/arboriculture or have relevant comparable experience.
  • Knowledge of the legislation and regulations relating to driving.
  • Mini sweeper experience essential and you will be required to demonstrate.
  • Substantial experience of undertaking the duties of a gardener or tree surgeon; bowling green maintenance would be an added bonus.
  • You will predominantly be standing with regular walking, some lifting, pulling and pushing.

  • 26 days annual leave plus public/bank holidays, rising to 31 days after 5 years of service (pro rata for part-time employees).
