The Northumberland Specialist Stop Smoking Service aims to improve the health and wellbeing of individuals by helping them to stop smoking. The service delivers support and treatment to anyone who lives or works in Northumberland, offering evidence-based interventions including behavioural support and a range of treatments.

We are looking for a flexible, independent worker who thrives in a team environment. While experience is valued, full training will be provided to ensure you are fully equipped to deliver high-impact, life-changing interventions.

Location: County Hall (main base), travel required to various locations across the county.

Salary: Band 7 £35,412 pro rata (22.5 hours) - Fixed term, up until 31 March 2027.

About the Role: You will provide personalised support to help individuals overcome nicotine addiction and reduce health inequalities within our community, with a particular focus on reaching priority population groups. You will manage an active caseload and work across diverse settings, delivering a variety of intervention types e.g. in-person, telephone and virtual clinics.
