The Housing Options Team are looking for a Homeless Prevention Manager to manage the delivery of the Homeless Prevention Service. The role works alongside the Housing Need and Neighbourhood management teams to deliver an effective and efficient homelessness service.
Responsibilities
- Lead a high‑quality homelessness and temporary accommodation service.
- Manage and deliver the front‑line Temporary Accommodation service.
- Provide wider operational support across the Homeless Prevention service.
- Ensure delivery of a high‑performing, effective and cost‑effective service in line with homelessness legislation.
Qualifications
- Experience delivering social housing services to vulnerable people.
- Knowledge of preventing homelessness, Housing Lettings policy and homelessness legislation.
- Experience in people and performance management.
- Knowledge of the Safeguarding Agenda and awareness of the Domestic Abuse Act 2024.
