About the School
HBHS is a co‑educational 11‑18 high school with over 400 students, including 50 in the 6th form. Located roughly 25 minutes from Newcastle upon Tyne, the catchment covers about 700 square miles. As a comparatively small school, students are treated as individuals while having access to a broad curriculum and a wide range of extra‑curricular activities. The school is an improving one, as reflected in our most recent Ofsted report, and we look to improve further.
Role Description
We are looking for a self‑motivated professional teacher who will support an expanding extra‑curricular offer, including opportunities for students at lunchtime, and play a significant role in the English department.
