Overview
Community Occupational Therapy Technical Instructor (West) - Permanent, Full time 37 hours, based at Dene Park House, Hexham.
Responsibilities
- Support adults with a wide range of health and social care needs to maximise independence.
- Visit residents in their own homes, assess for and provide basic equipment and minor adaptations, and confirm appropriate completion of some major adaptations.
- Work within a team comprising Occupational Therapy Assistants, Technical Instructors, and qualified Occupational Therapists.
- Collaborate with Social Workers, Care Managers, Learning Disability Nurses and other members of the multidisciplinary team (MDT) by sharing office bases with wider adult social care services.
- Based at Dene Park House, Northumberland, with the opportunity to work in a hybrid model including agile from home and other NCC sites across the county as agreed with management.

What we offer
- Salary: NCC Salary Band 4 - £26,403 - £28,142.
