Overview
Business Manager required on a 3 month project basis with a view to a permanent position from Summer 2026. 37 hrs per week term time plus 10 days. Band 8 – Point 29-33. £39,862 - £44,075 (full time equivalent). Pro rata - £35,272.48 - £39,000.42 per annum.
Responsibilities
Haydon Bridge is looking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic School Business Manager initially on a 3 month project basis. Lead the office team to ensure high standards of support. The post holder will be crucial in sharing a strategic vision for the development of the Haydon Bridge High School community. Manage financial, HR and administration systems with a current working knowledge of a secondary school. Support and develop a culture of strong organisational and ICT skills within the school business function.
About the school
HBHS is a co-educational 11-18 high school with approximately 400 students on roll, including 50 in the 6th form. The drive to school is a 25 minute, traffic-free journey from Newcastle upon Tyne. The catchment area covers approximately 700 square miles. As a comparatively small high school, students are treated as individuals while having access to a broad and varied curriculum and a wide range of extended extracurricular activities.
