We are seeking an enthusiastic, organised and customer‑focused Grants Officer to join our Disability Housing Team within Adult Social Care. This is a rewarding and varied role, helping disabled people and their families access adaptations that enable them to remain safe, independent and comfortable in their own homes.
You will be responsible for the administration and delivery of Disabled Facilities Grants and related housing adaptation projects. As a Grants Officer, you will manage Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG) applications from referral through to completion, working closely with Occupational Therapists, residents, contractors, architects, housing colleagues and partner organisations to turn recommendations into practical solutions.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping people live independently and who can build positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
