We have an exciting role on offer within our Public Protection service as a Environmental Health Officer.


About Us


Middlesbrough Council’s Public Protection Service is passionate about improving the lives and living standards of all its residents, protecting the environment, protecting consumer interests, and supporting a strong local economy.


We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced Environmental Health Officer to join our Environmental Protection team within the Public Protection Service.


The Environmental Protection team are responsible for delivering statutory functions including the investigation and enforcement of environmental protection, public health and animal activities licensing whilst supporting the broader functions of the Public Protection Service. We are particularly interested in candidates who have considerable knowledge in these fields and who have proven skills and experience.

Please note, this is a part time role working 22.20 hours per week.
