Tees Valley Combined Authority is looking for an Economic Intelligence Officer to support the development of a comprehensive regional evidence base and strengthen the Authority’s intelligence‑led decision‑making process.
Responsibilities:
- Undertake data analysis and interpretation of data.
- Coordinate and ensure consistency in data management to maximize opportunities for collaboration and data sharing.
- Liaise with key stakeholders and strategic partners to develop intelligence that meets the needs of the organisation and the region.
- Continuously seek innovative solutions to data presentation and analytical methods.
Role Requirements:
The successful candidate will work within the TVCA’s Investment Development Team during a period of unprecedented investment in the Tees Valley. Intellectually rigorous, the candidate should be able to interpret and convert key data and intelligence into high‑level strategic narratives, support the economic case for Tees Valley, and translate insights into accessible, impactful content for stakeholders. We are looking for someone with strong technical and analytical skills, expertise in data collection and analysis techniques, and preferably a solid economics background.
