The governors of this vibrant, nurturing and inclusive school are looking to appoint a professional with knowledge and experience of working with children with ASD and ADHD, and the ability to build positive and proactive relationships with children for the benefit of their wellbeing and progress.
Your role will include working with children with EHCPs as well as providing small group intervention, enabling positive starts to school days and becoming part of our amazing team.
Responsibilities- Has a strong understanding of the importance of excellent professional relationships with all stakeholders.
- Has a strong understanding of the challenges faced by children who have a diagnosis of ADHD and/or ASD and a desire to help them navigate the day to life in school.
- A good understanding of the busy nature of a primary school.
- Has the ability to work well within part of a team as well as being self‑motivated to complete specific tasks.
- Understands the importance of safeguarding procedures within a school.
- Enjoys working with children and providing an environment where they can feel safe and flourish.
