North Tyneside Children’s Services was recently graded Outstanding across all 5 areas (Ofsted inspection November 2024). Ofsted found “An exceptional early help service makes a significant difference for children and families who need support.”

North Tyneside Council’s Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) has a strong reputation with Ofsted, and due to developments within the service, the team is expanding, creating an opportunity for an experienced Team Leader in Early Help MASH to join us. This is a permanent post suited for individuals with strong experience in an Early Help environment who wish to contribute to the development of a rapidly changing service.

Due to exciting developments within the MASH and the expansion of the service, we are looking to recruit:

• Enthusiastic, resilient, and creative applicants to join the Early Help Management Team, supporting the development of the work, providing operational oversight and management of the Teams, and contributing to strategic planning.

You will need to have a good understanding of Early Help, experience in managing people, and supporting change.

The successful applicant will need experience of partnership working, the ability to develop and embed early help practices, a good understanding of thresholds, and the creativity to find solutions and support planning.
