Responsibilities
- Support staff and students in practical and theory PE lessons.
- Assist with the delivery of extra-curricular sport and fixtures.
- Help promote participation in a wide range of physical activities across the school.
- Prepare, maintain and organise sports equipment, facilities and resources to ensure lessons and activities run safely and effectively.
- Work closely with teachers and students; be proactive, well-organised, resilient and good humoured, enjoying working with young people aged 13–18.
Qualifications
- A passion and interest in a broad range of sports and physical activities.
- Experience of coaching young people.
- Relevant coaching qualifications (advantageous).
Professional Development
- Participate in a weekly training programme alongside teachers and other classroom-based support staff.
