This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed professional who is passionate about supporting pupils’ learning and development within a caring and inclusive environment. There are 2 posts available on fixed term contracts for 1 year: 30 hours per week with the possibility of additional wrap‑around care hours. Located in Cramlington, we have proudly served our community since 1972. We welcome applications from candidates with experience supporting learning across the Primary age range and a strong understanding of child development and SEND provision.

The Successful Candidate Will

  • Have experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role supporting pupils’ learning and development.
  • Be confident in supporting pupils with a range of needs, including those with SEND.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to promoting high standards of behaviour and a positive learning environment.
  • Support the delivery of differentiated learning activities in line with teacher plans.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, promoting their self‑esteem, independence and inclusion.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, parents and other professionals to support pupil progress.
  • Be proactive, flexible and committed to contributing fully to school life.
  • Have good communication and organisational skills.
  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
