The Role:
- Support Learning: Work alongside class teachers to deliver engaging learning experiences, adapting materials to suit diverse learning styles and needs.
- Champion Inclusion: Provide targeted support for individuals or small groups of children, including those with SEND, ensuring everyone has an equal chance to shine.
- Build Relationships: Be a trusted, positive role model who fosters confidence, independence, and a love for learning.
- Creativity & Coordination: Take hands‑on responsibility for supporting our Art and Technology department, overseeing specialised learning spaces and managing resources to keep our creative hubs running smoothly.
Who We Are Looking For:
- Someone with a genuine passion for working with children and a deep commitment to inclusivity.
- A team player with excellent communication skills, patience, and a great sense of humour.
- Experience supporting children with a diverse range of needs (academic, behavioural, or physical). While not strictly essential, we are particularly keen to hear from candidates who possess relevant experience.
- Thrive Approach Experience/Training – to help us continue building emotional resilience and well‑being.
- ELSA (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant) Qualification – to deliver targeted emotional support to children navigating big feelings.
