Overview

We have an exciting role on offer within our Prevention and Partnership Service as a Connect Customer Advisor.

About Us

Are you passionate about making a difference in people’s lives through the use of technology, supporting people to live at home independently for longer.

You would become part of an ambitious team delivering an invaluable service to the residents of Middlesbrough.

Connect is a Middlesbrough Council service which delivers the Community alarm services and Telecare services to people across Middlesbrough. We offer help and support to older, vulnerable and disabled people to help them to remain safe and independent in their own home.

Your role

You will provide a high standard of person-centred care when answering the calls on the community alarm system. You will assess the service user\'s needs, offer support, guidance and advice and then decide on the most appropriate action to be taken. This may include contacting the emergency services, a responder nominated or the Connect Response Officers.

Empathetic, Patient, Passionate about supporting vulnerable people, Organised with excellent communication skills. Technologically confident.

Working hours

In this role you will be working 36.56 hours a week.
