This is an exciting opportunity to join Northumberland County Council Facilities Management team as a Cleaner.

Location: Bolam Lake Country Park

Working Pattern: Monday to Saturday, 07:30 - 09:35 (12.5 Hours Per Week)

Role Responsibilities:

  • Basic cleaning duties.
  • Opening the automated site barriers each morning to allow vehicle access.
  • Opening the public toilets after cleaning to ensure the site is fully operational for visitors.
  • Opportunities for occasional overtime work within the on-site café, arranged under a separate agreement with the County Parks Service.

This is a permanent position and although experience would be preferred, full training will be given.

Benefits:

  • 26 days annual leave plus public/bank holidays, rising to 31 days after 5 years of service (pro rata for part-time employees).
