About the Role
We are looking for a Children in Care Education Coordinator to coordinate and oversee support for children who have had a social worker or are in kinship care. The role is fastâpaced and focuses on administration, coordination and early intervention to ensure no child slips through gaps.
Main Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule PEP (personal education plan) meetings, reviews and multiâagency meetings.
- Maintain accurate records, action logs and case files, tracking progress, attendance, behaviour and safeguarding concerns.
- Monitor key data and flag emerging issues or risks that may impact educational success.
- Liaise daily with internal teams and external services to ensure timely communication and joinedâup support.
- Work with local stakeholders and partnership organisations.
- Support leaders with reports, followâup actions, documentation and compliance with statutory processes.
Candidate Criteria
- Strong administrative and coordination experience in education, social care, health or similar settings.
- Excellent organisational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Confident communicator able to work professionally with a range of services and stakeholders.
- Experience tracking information, identifying concerns and escalating issues appropriately.
- Committed to inclusion and improving outcomes for vulnerable children and young people.
