Teesville Academy is seeking to appoint a Catering Assistant. The successful candidate will work as part of an established team who run the catering provision at Teesville Academy. This is an in‑house school kitchen and not part of the Local Authority Consortium.
The local Academy Councillors are looking for a team player who has high standards, can show initiative and is capable of problem solving. The post is subject to a successful DBS check and suitable references.
IRIS Learning Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore applicants will be subject to appropriate background checks and vetting, including an enhanced DBS check and checks against the children’s barred list. In line with our safer recruitment policy and Keeping Children Safe in Education 2025, an online check will be carried out on shortlisted candidates. You will also need to complete a criminal records self‑declaration form when attending interview. Shortlisted candidates will be subject to an online social media check.
