Northumberland County Council's Staff Bank provides a pool of highly skilled temporary workers who are looking for a long‑term placement, or who want to work flexibly within the council. If a team needs support due to sickness, common staff shortages, or general vacancies, they call upon registered bank members to fill available assignments. These can be filled via a long‑term assignment for up to 12 months on an ad hoc basis.

We are looking for multiple Café & Information Assistants to join our team at Bolam Lake Country Park.

Duties:
  • Working front of house providing customer service and providing the public with information about our parks and the local area
  • Food preparation
  • Cleaning of work areas
  • Serving customers and any other related tasks

No experience needed; previous cafe work is preferred but all training will be provided. Variable hours with weekends and bank holidays available. Pay is £13.05 per hour, with higher rate for weekends and bank holidays. Shifts are offered on an Ad Hoc basis.
