We are seeking an inspirational and ambitious Head of Aspire to lead our high needs and SEND provision, driving excellence in teaching, learning and student outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced educational leader who is passionate about inclusive education and committed to creating outstanding opportunities for learners with additional needs.

You will lead a dedicated team to deliver innovative, personalised programmes that empower students to achieve their full potential and progress confidently into further education, employment and independent living. As Head of Aspire, you will play a pivotal role in shaping strategic direction, championing inclusive practice and ensuring exceptional standards across curriculum delivery, safeguarding and student support.

You will work collaboratively with staff, parents, local authorities and external agencies to build a supportive and aspirational learning environment where every learner can thrive. We are looking for a motivated and forward-thinking leader with significant experience in high needs provision, strong people management skills and a proven ability to drive quality improvement.

The ideal candidate will hold a teaching qualification, Level 2 in maths and English, Level 3 in a relevant curriculum area and a Level 4 SEND qualification or substantial SEND specialist experience (and be willing to achieve Level 4 SEND within one year of appointment).

This role will include responsibilities within safeguarding and the postholder will be engaging in regulated activity.
