Role Overview

The successful candidate will design and deliver engaging, research‑informed lessons, provide meaningful feedback and support students to achieve their full potential. The role may also include consideration for a Head of Faculty position.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver engaging lessons in Religion, Philosophy and Ethics, following a cognitive science‑based teaching approach.
  • Provide meaningful, timely feedback to students to support their learning and progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to refine practice and contribute to a positive teaching culture.
  • Deliver a maximum of two high‑quality lessons per day, in line with the college’s timetable and wellbeing strategy.
  • Support student learning through the use of suitable assessment techniques and learning resources.
  • Be considered for Head of Faculty responsibilities if suitably experienced.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Relevant teaching qualification and subject‑level knowledge in Religion, Philosophy and Ethics.
  • Desire and ability to teach an additional subject is desirable.
