Wansbeck Supported Living Service supports individuals with learning disabilities and personality disorders who may display behaviours of concern, to help them live in their own homes and live a life that they choose. We are a CQC registered service that strives to achieve an overall outstanding rating. Our 24/7 service supports individuals in a person‑centred way with all aspects of their lives, from personal care, dietary needs, domestic tasks, fun and exciting activities, community access and staying connected with family and friends. We promote a high quality of life for all.
We are looking for someone who is caring, compassionate and considerate. If this is you, then we want to hear from you. The successful candidate should have experience in a care setting, desirably with people with a learning disability and who may display behaviours of concern, and should be flexible to the needs of the service and service users. You will work off a monthly rolling rota which will include a mix of early shifts, late shifts and night shifts.
Salary – NCC Band 4: £26,403 – £28,142 (Full Time Equivalent)
Requirements
- NVQ/QCF level 2 in health and social care or equivalent is preferable.
- Post is subject to a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service clearance.
- A willingness to undertake further training to meet the needs of the service.
- It is desirable that the candidate has a full UK driving licence.
