Monk Hesleden Parish Council is looking to appoint a motivated, organised, and proactive individual to the role of Clerk to the Parish Council and Responsible Financial Officer (RFO). This is an exciting opportunity to play a central role in supporting the local community and helping shape the future of the Parish.
Successful candidates will work closely with councillors, residents, local organisations and partner agencies to ensure the effective administration and smooth running of council services and projects.
Key Qualifications

- A Certificate in Local Council Administration (CiLCA), or willingness to work towards it, would be advantageous.
Salary & Hours
- NJC Scale – SCP 24-32 (£35,412 – £42,839 FTE equivalent) depending upon experience.
- Part-time, 20 hours per week (working hours to be agreed).
- Office-based, with flexibility for home working.
