We have an exciting role on offer within our Children’s services as an Administration Assistant.
About Us
An opportunity has arisen for an Administration Assistant to join our Children’s Care Admin Team. Middlesbrough Children\’s Services is committed to delivering an effective and comprehensive frontline service with customer excellence in mind.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal, IT skills and experience of working in a frontline, fast paced service. You will be required to provide a wide range of technical and administrative support including call handling, managing a centralised email account, raising purchase orders, making weekly payments, and data entry, using in-house systems such as Liquid Logic, Business World and Charms. You will be expected to ensure that all business support responsibilities are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.
A knowledge of Children\’s Social Care is advantageous but not essential as on the job training will be given for all tasks undertaken. Due to the nature of the work a high level of confidentiality is required. The post holder will be expected to be flexible and accommodating.
Please note, this is a part time role working 30 hours per week.
