New College Durham is recruiting a Sports Facility Assistant. The role involves supporting the Sports Facilities Manager in maintaining the Sports Complex facilities. The assistant ensures a safe and appropriate environment for all sport and gym users, works with the Facilities Manager regarding sports facilities and community organisations, delivers gym and 3G pitch inductions to clients, provides fitness and wellbeing advice, ensures user safety across all facilities, keeps the Sports Facilities Manager, Curriculum Manager and Head of School informed of relevant developments in the industry, and supervises the maintenance of all equipment to ensure its optimum use.
The role involves evening and weekend work and will be a 0.5 FTE role to cover the evening and weekend shifts required for the facilities.
