As a Retail Assistant, your role is to provide an exceptional service to our donors, supporters, and customers. Your days will be fast paced and varied; you could be greeting and serving our customers, sorting the incredible donations, pricing, and steaming, all while working alongside our amazing volunteer team members. Your flexibility and adaptability is key.
What we’re looking for:
- A good general education, IT literate and numerate
- The ability to engage with digital technology, use a computer, iPad and are competent with Word, Excel, and Email.
- Great attention to detail and be accurate, thorough and well organised
- The ability to effectively multitask
- A confident manner and able to be genuine
- Great communication skills and be friendly, calm, kind and efficient – even on your busiest days
- The ability to travel across North Devon daily without the reliance on public transport
- General good health and physical fitness - must be able to lift heavy loads, bend, and stretch frequently
