The predicted salary is between 27000 - 33000 Β£ per year.
The Council is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated technician to join our Planning Policy team, working jointly with neighbouring Torridge District Council.
This is an exciting time for the Councils as we commence work on a comprehensive review of our Local Plan and the successful postholder will make a significant contribution to progressing the revised Plan through to adoption, supporting its technical development, where the government have put increased emphasis on the need to deliver a digital Plan.
It is an opportunity to shape Northern Devons future over the next 20 years delivering the spatial framework for our development needs.

You will need to demonstrate that you have: Technical skills; including digital and creative, to support the delivery of the Local Plan.
Organisational skills, including the ability to meet tight deadlines.
The ability to thrive in a busy and demanding work environment.
