The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.
This is a temporary post to cover maternity leave; we are seeking to appoint a Section 106 Officer who is committed to delivering an efficient, effective and customer focused role. As part of the wider Development Management team, you will play an important role in ensuring that S106 mechanisms are used to deliver essential infrastructure for local communities.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Monitoring the progress of the development to identify when triggers have been met to ensure that financial contributions and non-financial contributions towards infrastructure delivery are paid/secured.
- Invoicing for financial contributions, including calculation indexation uplift.
- Managing the process of allocating and spending developer contributions in accordance with the terms of the legal agreement.
We are looking for a strong communicator to liaise with developers, planning officers and other stakeholders, whilst maintaining accurate records for the service. You must be able to develop working relationships with all services and external stakeholders involved in S106 agreements; be able to work as part of a team and self-motivated to work independently.
