We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Revenue Officer to join our Revenues and Benefits team. You will play a key role in delivering an efficient, accurate, and customer focused Council Tax and Business Rates service, ensuring income is maximised while maintaining fairness and compliance with legislation. The postholder will deal with complex revenues work, support colleagues and contribute to service improvement through strong technical expertise and problem-solving skills.
We are ideally looking for an individual who:
- has a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above (including Maths and English) or equivalent qualification/experience
- has knowledge of and the ability to understand and interpret Council Tax and Non-Domestic Rates legislation
- has excellent written and oral communication skills
- has supervisory experience including mentoring and training
