Responsibilities
- Drive refuse/recycling freighters or road sweepers up to 26 tonnes
- Manually collect recycling containers, refuse sacks, wheelie bins, or handle special collections
- Work on trade, domestic, or street sweeping rounds
- Manually sweep, litter pick, and empty litter bins
- Ensure completion of refuse/recycling rounds or sweeping schedules
Working Hours
Minimum of 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, starting between 6:30 am and 2:30 pm. Work on a Saturday following a bank holiday may be required.
Requirements
- LGV Class C or C+E Driving Licence (heavy goods vehicle)
- Valid CPC drivers qualification card
- Good knowledge of the local area
- Experience with refuse, recycling, or sweeping vehicles is beneficial
