Responsibilities

1. Drive refuse/recycling freighters or road sweepers up to 26 tonnes
2. Manually collect recycling containers, refuse sacks, wheelie bins, or handle special collections
3. Work on trade, domestic, or street sweeping rounds
4. Manually sweep, litter pick, and empty litter bins
5. Ensure completion of refuse/recycling rounds or sweeping schedules

Working Hours

Minimum of 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, starting between 6:30 am and 2:30 pm. Work on a Saturday following a bank holiday may be required.

Requirements

• LGV Class C or C+E Driving Licence (heavy goods vehicle)
• Valid CPC drivers qualification card
• Good knowledge of the local area
• Experience with refuse, recycling, or sweeping vehicles is beneficial
